10:35 pm - Interesting Blood Type Quiz
Your Inner Blood Type is Type A

You seem cool and collected, though a bit shy.
You are highly driven and a perfectionist, but that's a side you keep to yourself.
Creative and artistic, you are a very unique person who doesn't quite fit in.
People accept you more than you realize, seeing you as trustworthy and loyal.

You are most compatible with: A and AB

Famous Type A's: Britney Spears and Hilter

Okay, now here's the weird part: For one, I know I am either an A or O and most likely a + on both accounts, but I am not sure which one. This quiz did describe me pretty well, so maybe I am an A after all. If I am, then I'd be much happier since A's are rarer than O's and I would like to have the more unique blood type.

O.O Hitler was type A...XD

07:04 pm - Driving can be fun!
So yesterday I had my first driving lesson and all went well. I only ran over 3 pedestrians this time! :D Ah no, I kid, it all went well as I said, and I was even able to drive home; it felt so cool. ^^

I'm going to try to get my liscene in Febuary if I can help it, but if I can't then in March.

As for the SPITZ music link I supplied, I now know it wouldn't work because you don't have a registered account at that site. If you did, the link would work. ;) But I only go there for the zenhex forums, which I will tell you now, is a completely seperate entity from myyearbook, which bought zenhex so that it could stay alive. The first post I made in the journal was all about zenhex, and was the reason I created this in the first place, just so you know. That's also where that dragon comes from on the left.

In other news, I still don't have a job, but am still looking. On top of that, the college thing seems to be going well and I hope to get an acceptance letter in March, when they send them out.

School starts on the 3rd, and I'm not looking forward to it as usual. Why can't this year end already!

Well, I guess that's it. Happy New Year!

07:35 pm - For the Love of Everything Japanese!
Yesterday I went to this awesome store where there were a bunch of real Japanese stores all in this one big place. There was this book store and a market where you can buy authentic Japanese food and junk food and even this chinaware place to buy dishes and cups and pots and *Head 'splodes*

Yeah, they just had so much there I was overwhelmed. There was so much to see and I wanted to stay in there longer than we did; it was just so cool. <3 Definately the best store I had ever gone into ever before.

While I was there I bought the 17th volume of Fruits Basket, and even though it may be untranslated, I can still see what happens next. *Evil maniacal laugh*

I still need to read the 12th volume infact but after I do, I'm going online and reading all of the others all the way through as much through 17 as they allow, which I think is just halfway last time I checked. So I guess I'll do that tomorrow. ^^

Also, I bought an album called Do the A-Side by my favorite Japanese band Do As Infinity while I was there. It had two seperate CDs in it and had all of DAI's singles; yep all 21 of them and some of the songs I had never heard to their entierty before, and their latest single TAO I had never heard in it's album version; I had been listening to a live version for months and even though it kind of had a poor quality to it, it was still cool. But the album version is just so much better. <3 So yeah, I spent yesterday transfering a few of those songs from that album to my Ipod as I had already most of them on there already, but it is still awesome to own one of their actual albums.

And sweet Kami was I surprised at what came in the mail today. First some backround info: Back in 1998 two Japanese girls came to live with us for a little while. Since it was so long ago, and I was just a little kid back then, I didn't get to know them very well and I barely even could remember them up to this day. But last month my mom shows me this box filled with stuff that they had sent us and I was even lucky enough to find an email address from one of the girls, who really is a woman now, and I believe in her late 20's, but whatever. Anyway, I emailed her and about a week later I get a response and we've been talking ever since. Actually, I still have to email the other girl too. I better do that soon. *Hits self*

Anyway, the girl that I emailed sent me this really cool CD; her favorite in fact. I'm listening to it right now and it's so awesome! It's from a band called SPITZ and they even sound a little like The pillows so I bet you'd like them Rin. ^^ It was just so cool to for her to send me something; I was so happy. We have to get her something as well, but we don't really have any ideas. o.o Oh well, we'll think of something.

Well then...until later spitzers! XD

10:17 pm - To Give is to Recieve
So today I went with some 25 other people or so to this transitional home where the people there are inbetween homes; either they're just coming in or are just leaving. Anyway, we brought all these gifts to the kids and even some for the adults, and it was kinda cool. Embarassing at times since all of us there had more than all of them, but also gratifying that we could help others that are less fortunate. ^^

04:40 pm - Interviews can be creepy!

Especially when it's the first time for your first job ever! I have this interview with K-Mart tomorrow at 4 after school and I'm nervous as to what they are going to be asking me and if I'll get hired or not.

But not to worry, because if that doesn't work out, then I'm going to go apply to Sears and I think I have a good chance of getting a job in there too; one of my friends told me they're kind of shorthanded now. ^^

The reason I need this job is I am in drastic need of some money of my very own. I'm going to get a car soon, so then I'll be able to pay for gas, and anything else that I want to buy. ^^ It'll feel great to finally have money that I can call my very own and don't look now, but I'll even be able to ressurect my bank account that's all dusty from not being opening is several years. XD

Also, I'm trying to save up some money (like at least $2000) so that I can afford to go on this trip with 41 other people from my school on a three week toar of Europe. ^^ It's going to be so much fun and we leave just 3 days after I graduate too! XD Why can't this school year end already!

Well, wish me luck on the interview. I'll write back tomorrow to tell you how it went.

09:28 pm - Imitation Humanist

Well lets see, my Thanksgiving break is just about to begin tomorrow - the Eighteenth (18th)!!!!!!!! Ah, the best day of everymonth. My name on this site is just 1818 since 'Juhachi' means 18 in Japanese. XD Eighteen is my lucky number and the 18th of every month is always a nice and special day for me. Good things happen on the 18 of every month. ;)

Now onto the title of this entry. My English teacher said that he thought I was a humanist or at least a letent-humansist, meaning I hadn't gotten there yet. A humanist is basically someone that is concerned with the interests and welfare of humans, which I must say, I am not, at least that's the real me. Sure, I'll respect people and be nice to them as long as they're nice to me or ignore them if they aren't nice to me, but I am not a really nice person and am quite selfish to boot. I don't take people's interests or welfare to heart, but can be nice if I feel like it. Oh well, maybe Mr. Gardner, my English teacher, thinking I'm a humanist isn't such a bad thing. Then again, humanists usually denounce God and think they're gods themselves, which I will say here and now I DO NOT believe; I'm a Christian, believe in God and Jesus, even if I'm not really that active (I've almost never read the Bible o.o ).

In other news I'm still trying to get a job, this time at a movie theater, but the K-Mart thing is still up in the air. I'm still looking for a car and I'm passing all my classes with an A, so it's not too bad; it's actually pretty good except for some other things.

Laterz!

12:51 am - RIP Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005

I couldn't believe it when I heard just less than a half an hour ago, but WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero just died in his hotel room in Minneapolis Sunday morning. How he died is still yet to be determined but the strangest thing is that he was feeling fine just hours before he died.

I used to watch wrestling very much for three years and only just got out of it last July. I have to see Raw at least tomorrow just to see what's going to happen; it'll be the first WWE show I've watched since then. The story can be see on http://www.wwe.com/

In other news, there was a change of plans and I'm now going today on Monday to K-Mart to see what's going on with me getting that job or not.

Still looking for a car for me.

School is murder, but hey, we get off a week for Thanksgiving starting the 18th. :)

RIP Eddie Guerrero, Rest in Peace.

06:47 pm - There's a new Mod in town

And his name is Juhachi! Yes that's right, I have just been granted Moderator at Fruits Basket Lovers, http://s4.invisionfree.com/Fruits_Basket_Lovers/index.php?act=idx , and finally I have my chance to terrorize...er, help the members. XD

The only problem is that I have no Modly powers yet and strangly enough, some rights, like Editing my own posts, have been taken away for some odd reason. I've already contacted the Administrator about this though, so I hope it'll be fixed soon.

And I'm still waiting to be called back for the job at K-mart. I'm going to go back tomorrow to see what's going on.

Other than that, I don't have school tomorrow because of Veteran's Day so I have a three day weekend! w00t for that!

08:37 pm - Attention All K-Mart Shoppers!
I'm going to be getting a job soon, and guess where? Well, K-Mart of course, which also explains the last line in my last journal entry. I just handed in the apllication today and will be called back in the next few days to see if they'll interview me and if that goes well, I'll soon have some money to call all my own. :D

On another note, zenhex is doing much better now and a lot of the kinks have been worked out so it's basically what it used to be with a few minor alterations. I still recommend checking out the site; the link is in my last post, and the site is just awesome all around.

Well lets see if I can list some new things that are going on in my life:
- Very soon I'll be all caught up with Inuyasha after watching Adult Swim every Monday through Wednesday since June. @_@ It's taken me so long, but finally I understand almost everything about that anime.
- I got this cool handmade bracelet today for an activity we are doing in my English class that has to do with acts of kindness and is kind of confusing, but hey, it's a cool bracelet. It has small black beads in threes and inbetween those are white/black skulls. In addition, I brought this cool necklace today; on the end of it is this green ball with this weird Chinese picture of a bird on it and there's a bell inside too. If you didn't already know, green is my favorite color so I'm going to wear it to school tomorrow along with the bracelet too. ^^

And a shout out goes to my friend Rin Sohma aka Katelynn (did I spell that right? @_@ ) from FBL. Hope you get better soon!

08:31 pm - Sympathy for the Zenhex
Wow, I never thought that Zenhex of all things would bring me to finally create one of these things. I've definately been avoiding this for sometime mostly because I didn't have much to say but from what happened today I have got more than enough to rant about.

First and foremost and the reason I'm even here is about Zenhex and if you've never been there, then here's the website address: http://www.myyearbook.com/zenhex/index.php

Now, I know what you're saying, "What's with the 'myyearbook' in front of the zenhex tag?" Well my friend, that is there because zen, the network administrator of the former zenhex.com merged his site and network into that site because he couldn't keep up with the work load of maintaining such an enormous site. I am glad that zenhex is still there, just I wish he would have at least told us in advance about this. Can you believe that he's been planning this for about 4 months now and not even told anyone, not even the moderators?! Well that's exactly what happened and now everyone that has loved zenhex.com is having some troubles adjusting, some more than others. A lot of people don't like it and are leaving and the others are going to ride it out and see what happens in the future.

I'll tell you this much, there is no way I'm ever going to leave that place. I first found it in August 2004 and it's still one of the most awesome sites that I've ever seen or that ever existed; truely a marvel to the internet.

Just one thing: I can't seem to figure out how to get my avatar back onto the Hex; I hope I figure it out soon.

Oh, and as you can see, my livejournal profile pic is the former zenhex dragon that was posted on the top right of the forum window at all times; I was lucky enough to find this on Google since I had never saved it to my computer.

I'll probably rant more about zenhex in the coming days.

Other news: I got my computer up and running again, I finally got an Ipod and it works beutifully and now all I need is an external hard drive and some more RAM and my computer will be better than it's ever been in history.

Untill later K-mart shoppers!
